Stunning debut album from those teenagers who make music ahead of their life, Bombay Bicycle Club is the new hope of future Britian, with an album style ranging from Rock, Post-Punk, Indie & Ambient. Not the best this year but at least among the top five.

Outstanding tracks: ‘Dust On The Ground’ & ‘Evening/Morning’.

‘Sing Along To Songs You Don’t Know’, the fifth studio album from Icelandic Experimental boys/girls group Múm, it’s the second album since the famous Valtýsdóttir twin left the band totally, which leads to some obvious changes from the band’s original style, male and female duet vocal, less in Techno or Post Rock, more to Champer Pop and Folk.

Outstanding track: ‘Sing Along’.

The comeback of Mark E & the co, the first Eels album in four years. Hombre Lobo (Spanish for werewolf), as the title suggest, 12 Song Of Desire, with Mr. E’s beautiful blues every song tells a story. This is a simple and easy concept album comparing to the previous double disc one.

‘The Mirror Explodes’ is the fifith album from LA’s Neo-Psychedlica outfit The Warlocks. Since 2007’s ‘Heavy Deavy Skull Lover’ album, the band had changed their direction to Shoegaze from Psychedlica, a noteably difference from their previous Dandy Warhols-like style. The new album is eclectic in both styles to create a dark sound.

Outstanding track: ‘Standing Between The Lovers Of Hell’.

‘Post Electric Blues’ is the sixth studio album from Scottish outfit Idlewild, the album was first released to fans by the band themselves, and would get a traditional release in Oct. This album follows 2007’s electric-oriented ‘Make Another World’, then there is to call the Post-Electric. Idlewild’s music is far from their early Punk style, getting closer to more Folk style pieces, and frontman Roddy Woomble also released a solo album of Folk back in 2006. ‘Post Electric Blues’ is at the same level of their ‘Warnings/Promises’ album.

Outstanding tracks: ‘(The Night Will) Bring You Back To Life’ & ‘Take Me Back To The Islands’.
