#06154 Thee Unstrung

Thee Unstrung – Lies, Cheat & Steal
JP: 15th Mar – Victor

Like many under-rated UK bands, Thee Unstrung’s debut album is only released in Japan, and the band split before the ablum get a proper release in their homeland. Same situation happened to their previous label mate Special Needs who were once discovered by Poptones then continue to sign with Vertigo/Mercury. Thee Unstrung rock, Special Needs also rock, so for how long can The Paddingtons rock?

Outstanding tracks: ‘Contrary Mary’, "Psycho’ & ‘Who Runs The Show’.

#07004/05 The Cooper Temple Clause/Thirteen Senses

The Cooper Temple Clause – Make This Your Own
UK: 22nd Jan – Sequel

After parted away with their previous label Arista, TCTC back with their long-awaited third album Make This Your Own on new label Sequel (an offshot to Sanctuary). Addition to their electronic rock sound, power-pop or metal riff with angry screams lead a new TCTC direction.
Will you make this your own?

Outstanding tracks: ‘Damage’, ‘Waiting Game’ & ‘What Have You Gone And Done’.

Thirteen Senses – Contact
UK: 2nd Apr – Vertigo

Thirteen Senses’ 2nd album is produced by Danton Supple who had made Coldplay’s X&Y. Within our expection, Contact is made of slow ballads backed by keyboards from the 80’s. The guitar seems not fit across the album, it won’t be good as X&Y but Thirteen Senses had done thier best.
