The Troubadours is a British rock band based in Liverpool, who inherits the legacy that the Mersyside bands had left, from The Beatles to The La’s then to Cast and recent band The Stands. They are on their way being the new hope of Liverpool. The alum was first being released on Japan in where had built a strong fanbase, an international release is expected someday this year.
 
Outstanding tracks: ‘Gimme Love’ & ‘(I’m Not) Superstitious’.

This new album draws on 2002’s critical claimed The Last Broadcast after a less sucessful follow-up Some Cities. In addition, Kingdom Of Rust also develops that Northern Soul was added and mixed into Psychedlica.

The Bishops is another twin brothers front band, from London. For Now is their second album, a follow-up to 2007’s self-titled debut. Recalls the garage sound from 1960’s, with amazing harmony, jangly guitars.

Debut solo album from ex Libertines and recent Babyshambles frontman, Peter Doherty. With guest appearance from Dot Alison, Graham Coxon, Wolfman and members of Babyshambles. Grace/Wastelands is an album mainly built on acoustic with classical British sound sometimes a little bit of Ska.
 
Outstanding track: ‘Last Of The English Roses’.

Dark Nights/Light Years, the ninth album from Welsh’s finest Super Furry Animals, every album they’ve made are high quality and they always surprise you no longer than three years. SFA are major in mixing various elements, Dark Nights/Light Years is a groovy record almost with no slow song. Like recent albums, members share leading vocals, Franz Ferdinand’s Nicky also provides his German Rap to a Krautrock song.
 
Outstanding track: ‘Moped Eyes’.

Portland Indie Folk collective The Decemberists come back with their fifth album, titled The Hazards Of Love, inspired by 60’s British folk singer Anne Briggs EP under a same name. The Decemberists’ edition of The Hazards Of Love is a concept album and with the help from Lavender Diamond’s Becky Stark resulting a duo vocal with frontman Colin Meloy. Telling a beautiful tale thru seventeen tracks, musically this album is more Prog than previous works.
 
Outstanding track: ‘The Wanting Comes In Waves’.

Long-awaited debut album from London post puk trio Hatcham Social, partially named after a club. Whose drummer was in the early line-up of Klaxons, but they don’t have any musical style in common. Hatcham Social is influenced by such bands like The Fall and Orange Juice. Some of the early singles does not appear on this album.
 
Outstanding track: ‘So So Happy Ending’.
