The Brian Jonestown Massacre – My Bloody Underground
US: 15th Apr – A
UK: 31st Mar – A
The 13th album from Anton and his crew, this is the first BJM album for nearly 5 years. My Bloody Underground was mostly recorded in Iceland, so some of the tracks are sounding like Sigur Ros playing Garage. This should be the most avant-garde BJM to date, the entire album sounds more than a demo instead of a proper studio one.
The Dandy Warhols – …Earth To The Dandy Warhols…
IN: 19th May – Beat The World
The first album to be released on The Dandy Warhols’ own label after leaving Capitol. …Earth To The Dandy Warhols… is their sixth album. With the help of Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits) and Mark Campbell (Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers), The Dandy Warhols make an album mixing of Groove, Disco, Indie, Lo-Fi and experimental. This album can be played repeat without a gap. Download is beginned since 19th May while a physical format is due for later this year.
Outstanding track: ‘Love Song’.

Radiohead – The Best Of
UK: 2nd Jun – Parlophone
Career-spanning retrospective album for Radiohead, which collects their best songs from their six albums for Parlophone. Over half of the 18 tracks are taken from their most sucessful albums ‘The Bends’ & ‘OK Computer’. In addition to the single disc edition, there’s also a double disc version available, a 13-track disc 2 which is focused on more tracks from the other albums and some rarities. As the popularity that Radiohead made, this compilation is not a big deal for die hard fans, it’s only for beginners.

Weezer – Weezer
US: 3rd Jun – Geffen
UK: 16th Jun – Polydor
This is the third time Weezer calling their album a self titled one or untitled one, thus people only can differ by colors. Well the Red album is their 6th album, it’s as excellent as the previous color series, the Blue album and the Green album. The emo-rock sound Weezer make seems will never go out of date.
Outstanding track: ‘Pork And Beans’.
