This is The Mondays, back with their first album since over 14 years. This is not The Mondays, without the founder members Paul Ryder and Mark Day. It’s an electronic funk album close to Shaun’s debut album which was released on 2003. The back of the Madchester kings mark the climate of New Ravement.
 
Outstanding track: ‘Country Disco’.

Third album from London’s Athlete, they have not only beyong the neighbourhood, but beyong themselves to a new level, more electronic elements and no more Beta Band-ish.

The White Stripes – Icky Thump
US: 19th Jun – Warner Bros.
UK: 18th Jun – XL

The sixth album from Detriot’s Garage duo, the first album that does not design with red and white colors. Keyboard is fully use in the album, and old style Stripes country song which make Icky Thump one of the best of the year.

Outstaning tracks: ‘Icky Thump’ & ‘Conquest’.

Hurrah! The return of the king Kula Shaker, their long-awaited third album. After 8 more years hiatus, the band still get together (minus the keyboard which is being replaced by a new member) to make another album. Less Indian more root-rock, Kula Shaker does more 70’s as The Jeevas than what they did ten years before.
 
Outstanding track: ‘Great Dictator (Of The Free World)’, ‘Fool That I Am’ & ‘Song Of Love/Narayana’.
