Pulp – The Peel Sessions

Following the remaster Pulp album re-issues, Island now to release a ‘new’ Pulp album The Peel Sessions. Disc 1 of the double CD pack consists of all four John Peel Sessions that Pulp did, including the first ever session which was recorded in 7th Nov 1981 and the other three are 2nd Feb 1993, 9th Sep 1994 & 12th Aug 2001. Disc 2 is a selection of three Pulp’s concert recordings which were once aired on John Peel Show: Kings Colledge, London, 24th Sep 2001/Bristol University Anson Rooms, 21st Apr 1995/Birmingham Acasdemy, 31th Oct 2001.

The album lasts the concept of Pulp’s last album We Love Life and brings Jarvis to a higher level of composing.
