这是一支被忽视的乐队, 在92年唯一的一张专集后便解散, 还好现在有Viper (一个在Liverpool的独立公司) 为他们推出这张精选, 之前他们还出过经历差不多的The La’s的精选. 听了The Stairs才发现他们的后辈The Coral, The Zutons, The Longcut等等都一定程度上受到他们的影响.
